In my first half Ironman triathlon in Miami, Florida I experienced extreme cramps in both legs during the run portion of the race and ultimately struggled to finish. After the race I immediately headed to the medical tent seeking any sort of remedy for the severe pain I was experiencing. Ever since that race I have tried many different products out on the market with similar results. After three half Ironman races with cramping issues on the run, I was introduced to the great people at HEAT Sport Sciences, and they informed of their sweat testing and the unique LEVELEN products that are geared toward the individual’s personal test results. I immediately completed the sweat test and when the results came back I was able to pinpoint the culprit for my cramping. I was sweating out an unusually high amount of chloride. I spoke with multiple individuals in the HEAT Sport Sciences organization and was advised to try LEVELEN Level 4. With 490 mg of sodium in a 150 calorie serving, Level 4 was more than twice as much sodium as the standard sports drinks on the market. This past weekend I competed in my fourth half Ironman triathlon, and for the first time I did not encounter any cramps on the run portion of the race. This allowed me to put together a complete race and finish 5th overall. Words cannot express how grateful I am to finally have found a great product that can help me compete to the best of my ability. I look forward to tackling my first full Ironman triathlon next year with LEVELEN at the heart of my race day nutrition plan! I have and will continue to recommend this product to anyone I encounter that has ever experienced any sort of cramping issues while competing in a sporting activity!
